discrete (EACC): "An end prelude" domiciled

To all first he comes to an end. A prelude order and, to date, unclear and mysterious, which has earned me my adventure by "discrete domiciled." Never before had I felt so immersed in a project as usual, and so I wanted to thank all our readers for having made this, because without them we would not have been possible to build this exhibition under a common language.
cultural practices have evolved over these weeks, no doubt, have succumbed for the purposes of relocation and continuing diversity based on the artist's nationality as well as all of our intrepid participants. We have taken over the time and space, we have learned to do ours, to enjoy and appreciate it. But mainly we have fun, I must admit I've enjoyed every issue we have shared with you through this unique and particular cultural space called notebooks. I have faced a projected realities, dreams and thoughts reflected floating, to finally reach the center of this exhibition. I tried to tell from all sides and viewpoints as possible, and at the same time, guide a través de un recorrido fascinante lleno de intrigas y preguntas sin respuestas o respuestas sin preguntas.

Se han abierto todas las fronteras de proteccionismo y de reagrupamiento, negándose a la clasificación and rewarding the participation and dialogue between citizens and their city.

Undoubtedly, the EACC has surprised us again with a project that builds a social network, not just a display of products, no participation in that there is no voice. Therefore it is not only to accept or reject the proposal, but to live it, experience it and share it. "Avecindados discrete" sets its own rules, ie not stipulate any, is released into the audience of potential biases and commitment to a joint collaboration between our protagonists. We navigated through a maze of infinite innate ideas which emerges in each of the cohabitants. The ambiguity of this project as significant and, while bizarre and delusional, questioning the here and now, and socio-cultural patterns dictated by globalization. So we are invited to awaken our most primal instincts and feelings that are rooted, to internalize and deliver us from our social and political burden, in order to advance along the path of aesthetic experience. They tell us what to think, or how we act, what to do or ask, do not provide solutions but plant and raise doubts. So our artists pave the way for dialogue and action inherent in one of the neighbors.
From here, I take leave, without delay, of these five artists: Antonio Ortega, Bernard Bazile, Denicolai & Provoost, Cesare Pietroiusti and Jordi Vidal its mediator, capable of creating an atmosphere transgressive and revolutionary urban space.

Woman Swimmers, Tanlines

I consider myself a person persevere.
According to the dictionary,
"Perseverance: Perseverance, firmness and perseverance in carrying out something"
quality I think this opens many doors for me, but I closed many others, as the French writer Jean Baptiste Alphonse Karr:
"We like to call stubbornness to the perseverance of others but we reserve the name of perseverance to our stubbornness."
may be a renegade stubborn, wanting me through persevering, always looking for ways to achieve what I, looking for the impossible which are not and never will, but at least seeks to form!!
But along with the idea of the IBTS, Napoleon Bonaparte said:
"Victory belongs to the most persevering."
Although his stubbornness led him to conquer Russia as emperor fell against General Winter, the statement encourages me to continue as strong as it should.
As stated Chinese proverb, "If you fall seven times, get up eight." Lately I stumbled awkwardly with the same stones, so I feel a fool, but I think it takes more courage to stand with our heads held high after making the same mistake again to simply stop trying ... Oliver Goldsmith, the British writer said:
"Our greatest glory is not never having fallen but in rising every time we fall."
And better reflected than in either side, is in the giant Miguel de Unamuno, writer English in the late nineteenth century with his phrase:
"The way to make once the nail is to a hundred times in the horseshoe. "
I'm going to get what I want, I'll have to tear the shoe with a hammer, but at some point I will hit the spot! I leave you with a quotation from Chinese philosopher Confucius:
"The superior man is persistent in the right path and not only continued."
just hope that this is the right path ...

discrete (EACC): "Slow Food" Cesare Pietroiusti

The act of eating, especially in groups, is presented as an essential factor of cohesion in society, which has come to show throughout history through the habits of individuals. And it is inevitable that people meet for a meal. However, rather than the act of eating, what is really important and interesting is the fact of maintaining a social interaction between each of them, to strengthen their social connections transcending the family, interacting with others. So much so that different communities have made the act of eating into an instrument of social cohesion.
Even with everything, and unfortunately for us, today's society pushes us to live and eat very fast. Hence, fads, today, more accessible to the world where eat without having to maintain direct relationships with others. At present we are subjected to a pace of life, mostly tax, which has made us forget to take our time to enjoy food, work and even breathe.
That's why their performances Pietroiusti Cesare 'Workshop extreme slowness' in the Espai d'Art Contemporani de Castelló, we defend this situation. This has been done to the act of eating, since it implies a social significance. So the proposal by the Italian artist to eat in a group with a series of strangers, strengthens the feeling of belonging to a neighboring network. This relationship is established and developed between them so that each takes on different roles that come to externalize, and maintained consistently throughout the process of socialization that is created through social connections - set of actions that are key development of a society -.
Thus, during any of the workshops 'extreme slowness' we can see how a simple act innate human being becomes an instrument of society to promote social cohesion and the vindication of space-time. This creates a great framework for action in which individuals build, slowly, a joint action space. You can only get to build a common area if you steal time to the daily chores by individualization and internalization of space itself. Hence the advocates through 'domiciled discrete' by a slowdown in the daily process to reach taste and learn to enjoy the smallest pleasures that we provide.

awakens our attention in public space domiciled

Cesare
Pietroiusti affirms the existence of a public dimension, which is the opposite - or at least he is in dialectical relationships - those private. So we dipped into a problem as is the value that a particular community attributes to the public domain as logged in, the care she puts in, the cognitive or affective connotation. In Italy, for example, is known to the family that represents the dominant model, both economically and psychologically. Let's say, for better or for worse, there is a certain behavior "clans", with a strong sense of belonging, with long-term partnerships. The attitude of mistrust towards the other is considered a normal act. Pietroiusti believes that the public sphere of civic importance - the road or school, municipal office or even a bank in the street - is mostly played in a distracted, especially when something goes wrong. No wonder, then, on that "public art" is a formulation that resonates with bureaucracy, alienation and boredom.
Cesare contends that the intervention of an artist in an urban environment should work on the folds, and not easily recognized and categorized as "art." Is better in fact, contribute to determine the casual observer - one who does not seek - a time of uncertainty and doubt rather than to confirm expectations.
To understand a little better what they want to, we say that Piestroiusti prefer, no doubt, when someone covers one of his projects, a reaction like: "What is this?" Instead of " is art, therefore, not concern me. "
For the Italian artist" the 'public sphere' is simply that crossed and made of subjects who did not know and do not know him personally, where the 'private sphere' is that cross and made by people who know. " In this sense, a traditional artistic intervention - an exhibition of paintings, for example - in a museum can have a much more "public" project, perhaps more social nature, aimed at a specific and ; limited group.
In art, what really interests Pietroiusti Cesare is not the cause, but the critical idea, the ability to give rise to doubts and questions that belong to us belong, perhaps from very trivial matters, of realities as "infra-ordinary." Hence the involvement of Cesare in this project so ambiguous and uncertain couple of 'discrete domiciled', which undoubtedly seeks provocation, leaving indifferent to any of the visitors. Pietroiusti interacts with people asking simple questions that only the viewer can answer yourself: Why go slow? What's the point? How long could they hold out?, Etc.

Why Do People Get Congratulated For Birthday

discrete (EACC): "Gestures" domiciled

Gestures are an important part of this exhibition because through them we can attract public attention or, quite the opposite. Everything depends on the good use we make of them. Hence 'domiciled discrete' make a series of winks that are shared with the residents of Castellón, such as stock Denicolai & Provoost we found in the Mercat Central de la capital de La Plana or performances' Workshop extreme slowness' of Cesare Pietroiusti - where they can participate actively all citizens - or the banners of Antonio Ortega and students of the Escola d'Art i Superior de Disseny de Castelló.
We must bear in mind that all possess the ability to communicate and transmit. We can try to lie, cheat, manipulate, conceal or pretend through press, writing, but it is almost impossible to "pretend" by expressions of the human being within our multicultural society. For the same reason, the project aims at hand that we are natural and expressive with our response. Needless to add gestures to all the comments, or comments to every gesture. And is it the same way that the behavior gives a clear idea of how people are and their reaction to the exhibition space, the movements and expressions, like words, are varied and significant, as they are the silent words that can be seen and not heard, but we can interpret them. We dare say that society, under the watchful eye of globalization, should pay much more attention, as well as positive values, these small gestures of complicity that we can develop and establish with our neighbors.
In this globalized world, art is a language accessible to anyone who wants to communicate ideas to the rest of their peers - as does Antonio Ortega, in protest, in his "Hello, I am José María Ruiz-Mateos' -. Thus the universality of art, rather than weaken the multiplicity of new means of expression, gaining strength to be a field that includes knowledge and human sensitivity. Hence, this exhibition of the EACC project has as an objective to act as liaison between the institutions and the spectators.
art provokes reactions. 'Domiciled discrete' art gets picked up and build the different spaces. Positioning us to the essence of the work, we could see that provoke different reactions in the audience, comments on 'sotto voce', exclamations of surprise, indifference, and Of course, lots of gestures. The human being is a being expressive is not limited only to verbal comments, as irretrievably body notifies all moods. We are living art in motion, which performs a repertoire of performances daily unconscious, and sometimes some specific and elaborate. However, the expectation and reaction correspond to the original essence of the conversation of human beings, so that spontaneity is reflected in a transparent body of the most sensitive. So if we were objects of art, we would, surprisingly, how visitors and casual observers of our rationale, execute all kinds of grimaces, winks, fuss ... ultimately gestures that would indicate the acceptance or otherwise of our sense of vitality - in the first place - and a range of comments that reinforce their initial views.
In conclusion, a decrease of eyes, a furrowed brow, a lift of his shoulders, a smile, and a whole series of expressions, let Screener feelings, participating in complicity, in the dialogue , the interaction between us and the work starting, so the first step in the way of art.

Products That Kill Herpes

discrete (EACC), "Foreign intrinsic" domiciled

Currently, urban space is governed by large shopping centers, corporate towers, perimeter grounds, ample parking and massive capacity enclosures. These architectural models of this materialized in iron and glass have made us forget the traditions that formed and gave an identity to our city. In this situation, the videos of Bernard Bazile, Antonio Ortega and Cesare Pietroiusti and images of the artists can explore Denicolai & Provoost New features of the space we inhabit collectively, the urban landscape, which consists of tall buildings and tourist resorts, unify shapes and lattice types systematically repeated a complicit relationship between tradition and way of life with the frantic pace of a typical city. Still, we wonder what is the urban, how it arises and what its potential characteristics and effects on our lives. These are some of the issues that arise when facing their works.
is not novel to point out that the reality we have always interpreted through the relationships that we offer images. The photographic technique and, more digital, have been opened and strengthened this conception. Thus, the image is not only an interpretation of reality, but also functions as a vestige or trace of the real live. As a caricature or a cartoon drawing, that keeps us both on us. Photographs of people frequenting the Mercat Central de Castelló or fishermen slaughter of Denicolai & Provoost Grao make us accessible, instantaneously, to outside realities for many of us, though not without difficulty or ambiguity, since we access these ways of life temporarily, through a distance, ie a distance from our daily reality.
If this work presented here, alter the way we look and therefore, our relationship with reality, we can say that we also provide an area for rethinking the relations we have with the urban landscape our taking up residence. The exhibited works bring us closer to a new kind of perception, and with it the possible correlation that may arise from the urban and the masses, spaces accelerated subconscious places, the political conditions of temporal and spatial practices, with the traces that human beings left in these places, which constitute the element of culture. It creates a dynamic relationship of our artists with the inhabitants of the city as part of a group dynamic, where the human being becomes more visible in the space it occupies.
In 'domiciled discrete' not only reflects on the relationship between image and reality, but the question of ambiguity between image and word. For example, through the recovery of the aesthetics of the comics that exposed as propaganda posters Denicolai & Provoost, incorporating written language to mean, ironically, contemporary events taking place in our city, for example in the fish market. The word also appears in the banner Antonio Ortega, where we are given a warning, we wake up and catches us, in short sentences and striking the complaint and protest to debate reality.
The images of this exhibition project of the Espai d'Art Contemporani de Castelló are shown in different environments - indoor and outdoor - for us to understand the effects of these on the emotions and behaviors people. Thus, they represent social relationships and linkages, which leads to consider the urban space as a mobile site, dialectical and constantly changing.
In this context, the art opens a way suitable to analyze social patterns and the effects thereof in the production environment of space. There is a back and forth between artistic practice and the space between imagination and reality, thus creating a rhythm in the time between this exhibition and its city. Thus, the art plays a critical and transformative role that helps us recognize what place we are and where we are headed.
